Contact Us Notice about trading hours
As of the week ending 18 July 2010, Elio’s will stop trading Sundays and start trading Mondays instead.
We don’t really want to, but the recent industrial relations decision re-interpreting our industry award left us with one week to implement an increase in weekend casual wages we had been told would take place over four years.
We either shut Sundays, pitch a tent in the back car park (as it’s the only place we’ll be able to afford to live), close the business completely, or add about $3 to every restaurant meal. We don’t want to do any of these, but have decided to close Sundays.
We hope to see you in Monday nights, and do apologise for messing with a 25 year tradition. Our new hours are Mon – Sat 5.30 – 9.30 pm
